Hole #1 is a straight away 403 yard par 4. A tee shot slightly favoring the right side will give you the best angle to approach the green guarded by two bunkers in the front.
Hole #2 is a 155 yard par 3. The green is guarded by two deep bunkers and a false front. A tee shot to the middle of the green is the safest play.
Hole #3 is a 429 yard slight dog-leg right par 4. A tee shot from an elevated tee box needs to find the middle of the fairway guarded by two bunkers in the landing area. A tough approach shot to an elevated green makes it the third hardest hole.
A tee shot from an elevated tee box that is lined with trees. Stay out of the trees along the right side and the fairway bunker on the left to ensure a short approach shot into a front to back sloped green guarded by two deep bunkers.
Hole #5 is a 492 yard slight dog-leg right par 5. Keep your tee shot in the fairway that is lined with bunkers on either side of the landing area. A lay up shot to the top of the hill or just past it will give you a short approach and an easy look at birdie on this par 5.
Beware of the lateral water hazard on the right and the two large bunkers protecting a large green. A tee shot to the middle of the green and below the hole is the safest play.
A long and straight 461 yard par 4. A tee shot from an elevated tee needs to find the landing area protected by trees on the left and a fairway bunker on the right. A long approach shot is needed to reach a small elevated green guarded by two bunkers. It’s better to be long than short on the most difficult par 4 here at Apple Valley Golf Course.
Hole #8 is a dog-leg left par 4. A tee shot from an elevated tee box should favor the right side of the fairway so as not to be blocked by the over-hanging trees or the longer hitters can fly the two pine trees on the left. The elevated green is guarded by two large, deep bunkers and is slightly bowl shaped and slopes from back to front.
The left side of the fairway is lined with trees and out of bounds. A tee shot to the middle of the fairway will give you a good look at the green which is protected by two large sand traps.
Hole #10 is a long 222 yard par 3. There are two large, deep bunkers protecting this back to front sloping green. Hit it in the middle and move on.
